FAQ's
Will I lose control during hypnosis?
No. You are in control at all times. You will be completely aware of your surroundings and you will hear and remember everything during the session. A hypnotherapist can not make you do anything you are not willing to do.

How many sessions will it take?
This differs for each client. Every individual is different and it can depend on what the client is working on. Some people only require one session and others need several. Three sessions is considered average and allows for the hypnotic suggestions to be reinforced.

Can I be hypnotized?
90% of people can be hypnotized. If you have a willingness, you can be hypnotized. The exception is very young children and persons with certain mental conditions or disabilities. If you want to be hypnotized, you can be hypnotized.

Will I reveal information I want to remain secret?
No. You will only provide information you are willing to share. At all times you are aware and in control of what you say to your hypnotherapist.

What does hypnosis feel like?
People report a feeling of deep relaxation while being in the hypnotic state. Even though you are relaxed, you remain fully aware of your surroundings. This relaxed state quiets the chattering conscious mind allowing the therapeutic work to take place on a subconscious level. While in hypnosis people find it easier to focus on desired changes and report a general overall feeling of improved wellbeing.
